How To insert a picture :

1.Put the insertion point where you want the image to appear.

2.Select the Insert tab on the Ribbon, then click the Pictures command.

3.The Insert Picture dialog box will show. Choose the desired image file, then hit insert.

4.The picture will be inserted in the document.

How To crop an image:

1.Make a selection of the image that you want to crop.

2.Click on the Crop command on the format tab.

3.Cropping handles will appear around the image. Click, hold, and drag a handle to crop the image.

4.Click the Crop command again. You will see the cropped image

To crop an image to a shape:

1.Select the image, Click on the Format.

2.Click the drop-down arrow.Hover your mouse on Crop to Shape, then choose the desired shape.

3. The image will be cropped according to preferred shape.

How To add a border to a picture:

1.Select the image which you want to give border then click on the format tab.

2.Click on the picture border command.you will see a drop-down menu.

3.From there you can choose weight, color or not the line is dashed.

How To insert a shape:

1.The first click on insert tab then hit shapes command.You will see a drop-down menu.

2.Choose the desired shape.

3.Click,  then hold, and drag to the desired location to add the shape to your document.

How To resize a shape:

1.First, select the shape.You will see sizing handles along the shape.

2.Click, hold, and drag the sizing handles until the shape is the desired size. You can use the corner sizing handles to change the shape’s height and width at the same time.

 

How To insert a text box:

1.click insert then textbox command which is in text group.

2.A drop-down menu will appear. Select Draw Text Box.

3.Click, hold, and drag to create the text box.

4.The insertion point will appear inside the text box. You can now type to create text inside the text box.

5.If you want, you can select the text and then change the fontcolor, and size by using the commands on the Home tab.

6.To return to your document click anywhere outside the text box.
