Reports have been coming in via Twitter that at approximately 4PM there was an active shooter incident at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California. Supposedly centered around the cafeteria, a shooter had injured multiple people who were at the location.

Vadim Lavrusik, a YouTube employee, shared a scary tweet about hearing gun shots and barricading himself with other coworkers in a room inside the HQ.

The San Bruno, CA Police Department also tweeted that people should stay away from from the vicinity of 901 Cherry Avenue, which is the location of the YouTube HQ and that they were responding to an active shooter.

According to media reports, when police arrived they began evacuating the YouTube HQ with employees leaving the building with their hands over their heads.

Since then NBC has reported that the female suspect had killed herself before being apprehended.
