How to optimize slug
What are the points you need to remember of when making the right slug for your post? Let’s talk about some characteristics you need to take into account:
No stop words
Remove unnecessary words. Remove “a”, “the” and “and” and similar words.
Remove all the words that you do not need, not just stop words. Make sure after removing unnecessary words the slug still makes sense.
Keep the slug short
Try to keep the slug short. A short slug, after the domain, will allow Google to show keywords in its mobile search result pages as well.
