• 1First Thing’s First: Get iOS 11

    First, make sure you’ve updated to iOS 11 or higher on your iPhone or iPad. To do this, tap on Settings > General > Software Update. Your device will either say that your software is up to date or will prompt you to download the latest update.
  • 2Connect Services to Your Files App

    Open the Files app. The first time you launch Files, you’ll need to enable and connect to the services you wish to use. Files serves up access to several online file storage services, including iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box.

    Tap on the right arrow next to Locations and then tap on the Edit link on the top right. Files displays all the available file storage services.Turn on each service you want to access and then tap Done.

  • 3Authenticate Services

    Tap on the name of a service you want to load. The first time you do this, the app tells you that authentication is required to view the items in this folder. Tap on the Authenticate link.
