This is great and works for VM's, can you mention how you would use this method to deploy different OS's and inject different drivers for each model depending on the OS. I have selection profiles and in the task sequence I configure the driver path with Windows 10×64%Make%%Model but when it comes to the selection profiles I only have one for each Model not for each OS, do I select Windows 10 and Windows 7 drivers in the selection profile or do I need to create separate selection profiles for each? Thanks for your help, video is great.
Hi ! I need to install some computers with multiple Windows installations (on different disk partitions) for training rooms.
These computers will be used by different users group who need to use different Vlans (network) as well as different applications.
Will be this goal achievable?. Thank you in advance.
Excellent vid. your a life saver. One question though. If I wanted my computers to have the naming convention (when deploying both Win7 and Win10) of W7-%serialnumber% and W10-%serialnumber% where would I make those changes? Can I do multiple in the CustomSettings.ini or do I need a post-install task? Thanks again for the help. And my work thanks you as well
Very informative video, great job! How about setting up a Windows 7 and Windows 10 envirnonment side by side? Do they use the same WinPE? I'm unable to image using the same boot.wim, will I need a seperate boot wim for Windows 10 and if so do I need to make a different deployment share?
Good job, I've followed all your videos and set it up myself, but on the second attempt (Lab) It always asks for the share, i didn't get this the 1st time. what step could i be missing.
TIA!!
Great to the point video.
Thanks so much for this tutorial. One question, how do you add software to the new O/S? I have a WIN7 Image setup with three software packages and all works great. I just created a WIN10 image but need to add the same software packages. Thanks again.
good video but i have a question. How would you select the different "unattend.xml" file for the Win7 x64 "versus" Win8.1 x64 when choosing the different OS to deploy ?
Awesome video, a question, how can I skip the credentials user? is it possible? thanks man
nice
First at all tks buddy to publish my doubts !
I think that I found my mistake! I did not created folders on MDT to put task sequence ! When I started PXE, the Task sequence does not appears on deployment process.
I have another question: When you created a new task do you customize the unattended.xml file ?
Awesom, thank you bro.
Keep up the good work
Bernardo, do you work with SCCM 2012 R2 or any of the System Center 2012 R2 suite by any chance? Would be great to see some videos from there.
Keep up the good work.
